The Seigneurial Estate of Mascouche (2021)
25,00$
The Domaine seigneurial de Mascouche is one of the few seigniorial estates in Quebec that still boasts its manor house and mill. Although we don’t know the exact date of their construction, the manor house and mill fascinate some and enthrall others thanks to the illustrious characters who have built, renovated, lived in and modified them through the ages; the Le Gardeur, Pangman, Corbeil and Colville families, to name but a few, have all played their part in shaping the Domaine’s history. Closer to home, many Mascouchois still have fond memories of attending Le Manoir school or even Manoir Notre-Dame. From the French regime to the English, through the golden years to a period of abandonment and rebirth, Le Domaine seigneurial de Mascouche invites you to discover an exceptional place and unique characters whose history is part of the development of the town of Mascouche and the great seigneuries of Quebec.
